WE NEAR THE END

...of winter!  Snowdrops are everywhere, bluebells and daffodils won’t be far behind, and it seems remarkably mild.  No doubt there will be a few more glitches before 21^st March, the official first day of spring, but there is definitely a lightening in the sky and more bird song.  Here at L&F HQ we’re divided: I love the short dark days and relish the excuse of bad weather to draw the curtains and light the fire.  Mr I lives for the summer, and our young – including my admirable business partner - are utterly hopeless in anything resembling heat, so between us we have the whole year covered.  Someone’s always happy, which is lovely, and someone’s always whinging a bit – but hey.  C’est la vie!, as they say in rural Lincolnshire, - usually at this time of year.
