THE SCENT OF SPRING

It feels entirely wrong to be writing about our new Spring designs and products, as yet another icy blast descends on L&F HQ here on the edge of the steppes. There’s nothing much between us and Kiev, and February and March are definitely the months when we feel it most.  So come to think of it, maybe actually this IS the time to be focussing on warmer days and leafier times – how apt then to be able to tell you about our newest, most delicious scent yet: Neroli & Bergamot.  Light and citrusy, but honeyed and full of the promise of sun and warmth, it is simply the smell of Spring, and we’re delighted that we’re sharing it with you in both candle and reed diffuser form.  The kitchen here smells heavenly as the second batch of 50 single wicks cools, and tomorrow Isobel starts work in the office on the diffuser oil.  The only person not entirely over the moon is Mr I, who claims it’s all a bit overwhelming.   He has a point when we’re doing several scents at once, but really he shouldn’t object at just one.  With a new puppy in the house, learning when and where to relieve herself, let’s just say that smelling delicious is a bonus …
