Our Christmas photoshoot has just received a huge boost with the addition of Grace to the L&F team. As Geordie’s (youngest child) girlfriend of 3 years she has long been in the mix, but this week we have been shooting videos using her as our model for all things cosy and warm. Cups of tea, our glorious woollen Throws, some scented candles, a small but iconic dog on her knee … bliss. And then we lured her into the freezing dining room to light our Advent Candle (early, I know, but marketing waits for no man) and hang some wonderfully colourful Land Rover baubles. All of which she did with huge professionalism and no grumbling at all - a real trooper, given how cold she must have been by the end of the session. We’ll finish the pictures tomorrow but for now, we have lit the fire and drawn the curtains and we’re looking forward – don’t judge – to doing nothing at all for a bit.
It’s so exciting to be despatching festive orders already. We have the last second class postage date writ large on the office wall and there’s a genuine feeling that the countdown has begun – we may be almost exactly two months off, but they’ll fly.
