It really comes to something when, on the 8th of November, you are already pretty much Christmas’d out. (And yes, that’s a thing.) Having spent much of the last week counting our Holly and Mistletoe napkins into groups of four; folding them all the right way; cutting the measured lengths of ribbon; stamping our trade mark L&F logo onto little brown tags having laced each one with a measured length of hairy string; threading said tag onto said ribbon; wrapping and tying the bundle and then stacking them in their allocated slots on their allocated shelves ready for picking packing and posting, I think I can truly assert that to all intents and purposes, Christmas is already upon us here at L&F HQ. (And may I just say, for those among you who think I’ve finally lost the plot, that there truly IS a wrong way to fold a patterned napkin. Mistletoe must hang, not lie down. Holly must surely point up, spikily. Turn either design through 90 degrees and it becomes not the fabulous symbol of regeneration and hope that we have come to love in the depths of what should be bitter cold, but merely a picture of some lying down vegetation.) So could I ask you please, in the seasonal spirit of whatsit, to take a look at our beautiful glistening website on which we have lavished so much time and effort, and buy some of the darn Napkins?! I’m counting them as I try to get to sleep, I have blisters from the scissors, and I’m back to wearing glasses from tying fiddly bows. Bah utter humbug.
