L&F'S A&E UPDATE

L&F'S A&E UPDATE

No news is good news - we survived, ladies and gentlemen!  The Easter Egg Hunt of 2025 was generally agreed to be a classic of its genre, and everyone remained (largely) unblemished.  What remains of the diabetes inducing haul is now aggressively labelled with the owner’s initials in indelible marker, and stashed somewhere around the house – not that there was much left by the end of the weekend.  And so L&F life returns to normal, with a lot of time being spent this week on bundling our very loud new candles.  ‘Bold and beautiful’ best describes them: we have hot pinks and scorching reds and then, for the calmer amongst you, some rather soothing lilac and peony hues.  Combined with our dazzling table mats and coasters, what could be finer on a balmy summer evening than sitting out late and long with friends and family around a beautifully dressed table bearing the remains of a delicious meal?  (Hard to imagine as I sit here in four layers and woolly slippers, but stay with me …)  I’ve been so inspired by our sourcing forays that I have thrown out the 30y old, food encrusted horrors that have lived in the mats drawer for ever, and have invested in some blues and pinks of my very own – woe betide anyone who doesn’t notice and admire them.  I don’t think there’s much danger of them being ignored, but you know who you are likely to be (Mr I) and … you have been warned.
