(Given the time of year, you know the rest.)
Well ladies and gentlemen, we all survived my birthday and the clearing up and now we’re into Christmas. The last of the L&F packages are packaged and despatched, and I’m off across the yard shortly to restore order to the stock room and office – if I don’t see another Holly apron or ovenglove or Humby Jute wreath for just a little while that will be fine by me, but we have bought our own Partridge and Christmas Pud baubles and they’re being put to good use. The house is full of the smell of two bedecked trees and a lot of cholesterol-laden baking. This year I’m going to a midnight service for the first time ever: whatever your faith, or none, we at L&F want to thank you for your support and custom, and to wish you a very happy and peaceful Christmas. Xx
