Don’t tell anyone, but L&F HQ is echoingly empty this weekend. Lancashire beckons, for the wedding of a family friend, and excitement is high. The groom is reputed to be nearly as fab as the bride, and her parents are simply the best. The setting is spectacular, and the county beautiful: forgive us therefore if orders placed this weekend leave here a day late. We’re just about straight again after a very busy Rutland Show so it will be lovely to get our heads clear, too. There’s nowhere quite like the British countryside, especially in June, and we feel we’ve captured that spot-on in our newest fragrance, English Pear & Freesia. Light, delicious and fruity, it really is the scent of summer – and almost as gorgeous as today’s bride. Almost … but not quite.
